A life of faith is precisely that, a life of faith. A profession of faith has little meaning if our hearts and actions do not embody our beliefs. God meets each of us wherever we are in life. Luckily, God does not leave us the way we were.
My Weekly Word is a word of encouragement for those walking this road of faith. Whether you are new to a life of faith or have been a faithful follower of Christ your whole life, we each struggle with putting our faith into practice in the real world. My Weekly Word is meant to be a blessing for your journey, a moment of inspiration as you actively live your faith in the world.
James 1:22-24 (NLT) says, “But don’t just listen to God’s word. You must do what it says. Otherwise, you are only fooling yourselves. For if you listen to the word and don’t obey, it is like glancing at your face in a mirror. You see yourself, walk away, and forget what you look like.“
I hope that My Weekly Word will be a blessing to you on your journey. My prayer is that God will use the videos, blogs, and resources compiled here to encourage you in your walk of faith.
